Temporary Positions
Fugro EarthData is hiring for temporary positions within our digital imaging department (Frederick, Maryland). Applicants must possess a background in one of the following: geography, digital imagery, GIS, photogrammetry, or cartography. Must be a quick learner; capable of working in an organized fashion under pressure. This is a great opportunity for college students or May graduates! Two types of temporary positions are available:
GeoSAR Finishing (6-8 positions; second shift)
- Process, edit, and finish radar data from different sources to produce a variety of products that meet internal and/or external client requirements; perform QA/QC of radar data
- Unix experience a plus
- ArcView/ArcMap experience a plus
- Position to start ASAP through September (possibly longer)
Ortho Finishing (8-10 positions; first and second shifts)
- Perform QA/QC of digital ortho projects
- Understand the principles and fundamentals behind the creation of digital orthos in accordance with project-specific requirements
- Adobe Photoshop experience a plus
- ArcView/ArcMap experience a plus
- Position to start in May and run through September
